Edward Pais, was just notified that he was selected to serve on the Vermont Green Building Network (VGBN) Board of Directors as the new Advocacy Liaison. The responsibilities of this position include:

• Manage and Coordinate the Advocacy Committee Meeting
• Update Board on committee activities and public policy and private sector initiatives in Vermont
• Network with key state legislators
• Respond to and advocate for green building policies at the local level, including zoning and other municipal ordinance; and corporate, higher education, school district, and other campus environments.
• Identify opportunities to speak at public venues for VGBN President, board, or other green building experts affiliated with VGBN
• Provide education of green building political and policy venues
